People/Permissions
What is an administrator (aka admin)? Can we have multiple admins? How do I give someone admin access?
A person with Admin privileges has unrestricted access to a website. Additionally, they have access to Module settings which allows deletion of entire modules. Multiple people can be granted Admin privileges.
How do I specify who can access certain sections of my website? What permission levels are available?
Reflect does not have set permission levels, but allows you to give people access to specific areas of your website. By default, you’ll see a list of checkboxes with Admin, Everything, Pages, Files, People, Design, and Settings. Additionally a list of each module in the site will be listed. Simply check the box of a specific section to give access.
What does it mean to give a person access to “Everything”?
Giving someone access to everything means that they can access all content/sections on the website (including any future modules created), but does not give them Admin privileges.
How do I add a person to a website?
From the People/Permissions tab, click on “Add person”. The following page allows you to enter information associated with that person such as email address, username, password, etc… Additionally you can assign permissions and write a brief note that will be send to the person’s email address along with notification of their account.
